inertia a state at which a body or a obeject is said to be at a complete state of rest... but if u think of it properly... the state of inertia can only be possible with referance to a certain thing.... for eg a ball can be said to be a state of inertia if it is not movin at all and is there on the ground or something... and it is there the way it is.... but at the same time it is in motion with referance with that of the earth so interia is more or less a compartive form of rest but never actually state of rest which a object can ever attain....
letz see now with referance to the ball again.....
the ball is on rest on the earth.....
but the earth is rotating around itz axis....
the same earth revolves around the sun... in 365 dayz time period....
but the solar system in which the earth is present the milky way is also rotatin.....
the same time... milky way is also movin.. to where ever it is movin.......(the expasinon of the univerase)
all the atom... present in each and every single object r also in motion......
dude to all these reasonz.... a total state of inertia... by which i mean.. a complete state of rest in all possible wayz possible is totally impossible......and also can never be attained......
